Since the premiere of the anime adaption of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga in 1999, Toei Animation has produced 15 point flicks grounded on the ballot traditionally released during the Japanese academy spring break since 2000.( 1) Four of the flicks were firstly shown as double features alongside other Toei film products and therefore have a handling time below point length( between 30 and 56 twinkles). The first three flicks were shown at the Toei Anime Fair( 東映アニメフェア, Toei Anime Fea) and the eleventh was released as part of Jump icons Film. The flicks generally use original stories, but some acclimatize story bends from the manga directly.
With the release of flicks ten, twelve, thirteen, and fourteen, tie- in story bends of the television series were vented coincidently. also, three of these flicks have had special docudrama films, showcasing the characters engaged in colorful conditioning unconnected to the series. They were shown dancing in Jango's Dance Carnival with Clockwork Island Adventure; playing soccer in Dream Soccer King! with Chopper's Kingdom on the islet of Strange creatures; and playing baseball in Take Aim! The Pirate Baseball King with The Curse of the Sacred Sword.
There are also 13 TV specials that were broadcast on Fuji TV and two short flicks, which were shown at the 1998 Jump Super Anime Tour and 2008 Jump Super Anime Tour, independently. As with the ballot's anime TV series, the eighth, tenth, twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth flicks have been certified by Funimation/ Crunchyroll and released in both subtitled and dubbed formats. also, the first through seventh and ninth flicks have been released in the United Kingdom with English mottoes .( 2) One Piece is the first animated point film of the ballot, starring Mayumi Tanaka as MonkeyD. Luffy, Kazuya Nakai as Roronoa Zoro, Akemi Okamura as Nami, and Kappei Yamaguchi as Usopp. It premiered in Japan on March 4, 2000 and was released to DVD on January 21, 2001.( 3) The film was shown in a double bill with Digimon Adventure Our War Game!. In the first week, the film attained alternate place in the Japanese box office, third place during their alternate week, and first place during the fourth and fifth weeks.
( 4) The legend of the Great Gold Pirate Woonan remains complete, times after his exposure. numerous rovers search for his mountain of gold hidden on a remote islet, among them are Captain El Drago and his men. By hunting down every member of Woonan's former crew, they ultimately take possession of a chart to that retired islet. On their way there, they meet and decide to burglarize the Straw Hat rovers, who, still lacking a chef, are close to starvation. A short fight ensues, during which Luffy, Zoro, and Tobio, a boy who ran down from home to come part of Woonan's crew, are separated from the other Straw headdresses and their boat, staying round on the shattered remains of what at some point was a boat. Following the scent of food, they snappily arrive at a floating oden bar, run by Tobio's forefather, Ganzo. El Drago and his crew land on Woonan's islet, where they encounter Usopp, who, to shirk being killed, convinces them that he's a professional treasure huntsman, offers them his help, and using their chart, starts leading them around.
