 Haikyu!!( ハイキュー!!, Haikyū!!, from the kanji 排球" volleyball") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was reissued in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, with its chapters collected in 45 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to come a great volleyball player despite his small  elevation.

   An anime  TV series  adaption produced by productI.G,  vented on MBS from April 2014 to September 2014, with 25  occurrences. A alternate season  vented from October 2015 to March 2016, with 25  occurrences. A third season  vented from October 2016 to December 2016, with 10  occurrences. A fourth season was  blazoned during the Jump Festa'19 and was released in two cours; the first 13-  occasion cour  vented from January to April 2020, and the alternate 12-  occasion cour  vented from October to December 2020. The anime film series  named Haikyu!! Final, has been  blazoned, which serves as the  homestretch of the series.   In North America, the manga has been  certified by Viz Media, while the anime series has been  certified for digital and home release by Sentai Filmworks.   Both the manga and anime have been met with positive responses. In 2016, Haikyu!! won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen  order. By August 2022, the manga had over 55 million  clones in rotation, making it one of the best- dealing  manga series.   Plot  See also List of Haikyu!! characters  Junior high  academy pupil, Shoyo Hinata, becomes  hung up with volleyball after catching a  regard of Karasuno High School playing in Citizens on television. 

Of short  elevation himself, Hinata is inspired by a player the observers  surname' The Little mammoth', Karasuno's short but talented  sect javelin. Though inexperienced, Hinata is athletic and has an  emotional  perpendicular jump. He joins his  academy's volleyball club – only to find he's its sole member, forcing him to spend the coming two times trying to  move other  scholars to help him exercise.   In the third and final time of inferior high, some of Hinata's  musketeers agree to join the club so he can  contend in a  event. In his first  sanctioned game ever, they suffer a crushing defeat to the  platoon favored to win the  event – that included third- time Tobio Kageyama, a  sensation setter nicknamed' The King of the Court' for both his skill and his brutal play style. 

The two spark a short  contest, and after the game, Hinata vows to  master Kageyama in high  academy.   Hinata studies and is accepted to Karasuno, the same high  academy the" Little mammoth" played for, but is shocked to discover that Kageyama has also chosen to attend Karasuno.( 4) Karasuno is revealed to have lost its character as a  hustler  academy following the  period of the Little mammoth,  frequently being appertained to as' The Wingless Crows' by other original  brigades.( 5) still, by combining Kageyama's genius setting chops with Hinata's remarkable athleticism, the brace  produce an explosive new volleyball tactic and develop an  unanticipated but  important setter- javelin  cooperation.  

 Along the way, Hinata and Kageyama push each other into reaching their full  eventuality, and Hinata develops  connections with his first real  platoon,  therefore beginning Karasuno's  trip of redemption to restore their character and make it to the Citizens.   Both Hinata and Kageyama aspire to be professional volleyball players, and make a  pledge to one another after they graduate from high  academy that no matter what, they will both play on the same court again. They've a remarkable bond and devote their lives to each other and the sport of volleyball.
